How to capture drone photography for CGI integration

Do not treat the drone shoot as an independent photography task. The visualization team should help define candidate positions, altitude, orientation, focal length behavior, sun direction and required overlap before the flight where possible.

  • Capture the cleanest practical source resolution and retain original files and metadata.
  • Record approximate camera location, altitude and orientation.
  • Shoot multiple controlled brackets around priority viewpoints rather than one speculative hero.
